the first wave between Hornets and lakers

The New Orleans Hornets held off the first wave of Lakers. New Orleans watched as the Lakers were forced to retreat and assemble elsewhere. The Hornets had secured the high ground. Laker nation stood in silence as they witnessed the planting of the Hornet flag on their home turf.

Phil Jackson summoned his generals. Will they use new tactics in Game 2 or simply improve the ones that failed them in game one?

They know they cannot allow Chris Paul to slice and bleed them as he did repeatedly in their game one loss. It was as if the Lakers cannons and cavalry were stuck in the mud.

Why is it that no one had knowledge of the Hornets bench hiding in the woods,  awaiting the perfect moment to pounce with a" hit and run" style?

The Lakers discovered that the smallish Hornets employed a few tactics of their own. Quickness, coupled with decisive maneuvers. Snipers landing floaters and jumpers from up close and from afar. These Hornets were so willing to throw themselves atop the Laker royal guard. This method was working. The Lakers lines broke and scattered.

Lakers fans looked upon the Hornets as if they were a swarm of harmless little shoo-flies. Their minds changed when they saw the number of stingers left behind in the bodies of their beloved Lakers.

As the Hornets settled in their camp to rest, their general, Monty Williams, knew the Lakers would seek revenge. An army that had won 16 NBA Titles and 31 Western Conference Championships was preparing to unleash a new wave of heightened force.

Lakers fans have but one thought in their minds: Slaughter this undeserving band of Hornets and send them home to their swamps.

Game 2 will reveal a Lakers team that will seek to end the confrontation early. Allowing the Hornets to make a game of it would be a blow to Lakers egos everywhere.
